Virginia Licensed Penetration Tester
Job Summary
To enhance cybersecurity measures, the full-time contract Virginia Licensed Penetration Tester will perform advanced penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and networks, collaborating with security engineering and CSOC teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct web application, API, and network penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and exploit paths
- Plan and execute Red Team engagements, including reconnaissance and post-exploitation activities
- Develop automation scripts using Python and/or PowerShell to support security testing and reporting
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and penetration testing
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite and Kali Linux
- Experience with Red Team and Purple Team engagements
- Knowledge of OWASP ASVS and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
