Job Summary
To support the VA Meds by Mail program, a Virginia Licensed Pharmacy Technician will process prescriptions, handle call center inquiries, and complete pharmacy clerical work in a remote, contract position based near Dublin, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Enter prescription data accurately in VA pharmacy information systems
- Review and process external prescriptions according to standard operating procedures
- Answer and triage call center inquiries from patients and caregivers
Required qualifications
- Current, unrestricted pharmacy technician certification from PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in reading, understanding, speaking, and writing English
- Computer proficiency for data entry and navigating pharmacy systems
- Must reside within 50 miles of the VA Meds by Mail facility in Dublin, Georgia
