Job Summary
To support accessible mental health care for children, teens, and young adults, a part-time Virginia Licensed PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe psychotropic medications through 100% telehealth in an autonomous practice environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop diagnostic formulations
- Create individualized treatment plans and prescribe/manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators through case consultation and care planning
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Virginia PMHNP license
- Ability to practice independently without an MD collaboration agreement
- PMHNP-BC board certification
- Active DEA license
- Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program
