Job Summary
To support a growing virtual healthcare practice, the part-time 1099 Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for patients across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose various mental health conditions
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while monitoring treatment effectiveness and patient adherence
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary clinical team
Required qualifications
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in applicable states
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience treating patients ages 13 and older
- Strong clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Proficiency in psychiatric medication management and familiarity with Athena One EHR
