Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population while benefiting from administrative support for billing and credentialing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for patients in the Medicaid population
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team while maintaining clinical decision-making autonomy
• Build and manage a diverse caseload with the support of a robust referral network

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Virginia
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Prescriptive authority, active DEA registration, and Virginia controlled substance registration
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications
• Proficiency in EHR systems and a HIPAA-compliant home office setup
