Job Summary
Seeking a Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, the full-time remote position will manage virtual patient care, including assessments and treatment plans, while collaborating with an interprofessional team and adhering to state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and management of patients across various clinical settings
- Exercise independent judgment in diagnosing and initiating medical processes and procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program
- 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Current Virginia licensure as an Advance Practice Provider
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required
- Must reside in Virginia and meet all credentialing requirements of UVA Health System
