Job Summary
Leading the SAM Data Team remotely, the full-time Virginia Licensed SAM Data Team Lead will manage team operations, design and implement analytics solutions within ServiceNow, and develop predictive models to enhance software asset management for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the SAM Data Team, including task assignments and performance evaluations, to meet remediation targets
- Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow analytics reports and dashboards tailored to software asset management needs
- Develop predictive analytics models to forecast software usage patterns and compliance risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in IT asset management
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Platform Analytics and reporting toolsets
- Demonstrated experience in designing data models and integrating internal and external data sources
- Strong proficiency in data query languages and tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
