Virginia Licensed Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Virginia Licensed Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen SOX-compliant controls while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations to support timely month-end close
- Deliver financial reporting schedules and analyses, including inputs for quarterly SEC reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and support business needs
Required qualifications
- CPA or progress toward CPA
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and large ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion
- Experience with SOX/internal controls and public-company or SEC reporting
