Job Summary
Supporting a mixed and growing environment of enterprise storage hardware, the full-time Virginia Licensed Senior Storage Administrator will manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers and storage systems for ALTESS and its customers, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite in Radford, VA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support enterprise servers and storage systems
- Assist with implementing new system hardware and software, and provide input for local operating procedures
- Monitor ongoing system operation and produce utilization reports to identify problems and corrective actions
Required Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Three or more years of experience in design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise data storage systems
- Experience with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
