Virginia Licensed Systems Coach
Job Summary
To support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), the part-time Virginia Licensed Systems Coach will collaborate with school divisions across Virginia, providing training and technical assistance in evidence-based practices for literacy, mathematics, and behavioral interventions.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the development and enhancement of VTSS training for divisions and schools
- Provide coaching and technical assistance to support the implementation of MTSS frameworks in assigned schools
- Facilitate statewide and regional training sessions, ensuring effective navigation of MTSS implementation stages
Required qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's) in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or a related field
- Current or past qualifying experience with Postgraduate Teaching or Pupil Personnel, or professional licensing in relevant educational areas
- Experience in providing technical assistance to education professionals
- Prior training in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Positive Behavioral Interventions Supports, and/or Response to Intervention
- Demonstrated ability to foster a respectful and professional environment among diverse populations
