Job Summary

Providing individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients, the fully licensed therapist/counselor (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) will work remotely as a contractor, committing to a minimum of 10 sessions per week while delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based care and participating in clinical supervision for licensure support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual therapy in a telehealth setting, focusing on affirming and trauma-informed care for LGBTQIA+ clients
• Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Participate in regular clinical supervision to support professional development toward full independent licensure

Required qualifications

• Active Virginia license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
• Experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and a strong passion for identity-centered care
• Comfort with providing telehealth therapy and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 client sessions per week with flexible scheduling
• Cultural competence in delivering care to diverse populations within the LGBTQIA+ community
