Job Summary
To support a dynamic learning environment, the part-time Virginia Licensed Veterinary Technology Adjunct will teach courses in Veterinary Technology, engaging students through various instructional methods and providing timely feedback to promote student success.
Key responsibilities
- Create a learning environment that facilitates knowledge and skill acquisition in Veterinary Technology
- Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to engage students
- Deliver instruction and conduct assessments while adhering to college policies and providing office hours for student support
Required qualifications
- BS or AAS in Veterinary Technology or a DVM in Veterinary Medicine
- Credentialed veterinary technician or licensed veterinarian
- Two or more years of related occupational experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format
- Teaching experience at the college level is preferred
