Virtual Access Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient access and support healthcare providers, the full-time Virtual Access Specialist will educate HCPs on reimbursement processes and patient support programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and reimbursement using AbbVie approved tools
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders
• Identify payer trends and report findings to improve patient access strategies and system efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, or access and reimbursement
• Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, coverage criteria, and prior authorization procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate cross-matrix environments effectively
• Critical thinking skills to assess and prioritize workloads for optimal resource allocation
