Job Summary
Serving as a senior strategic advisor, the fully remote Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) will manage client technology strategies, develop multi-year roadmaps, and oversee IT financial planning while collaborating with client executives and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Translate client goals into practical technology strategies and develop integrated multi-year roadmaps
- Lead monthly strategy sessions and participate in executive business reviews to ensure alignment with client objectives
- Conduct assessments to identify strategic risks and improvement opportunities while maintaining up-to-date documentation and reporting
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT services, technology consulting, or a comparable business-facing technology role
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders and influence decisions without direct authority
- Experience in developing technology roadmaps and IT budgets that encompass multiple providers
- Broad understanding of modern business technology environments, including cloud services and cybersecurity
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
