Virtual Diagnostic Specialist
Job Summary
To educate healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives, the full-time Virtual Diagnostic Specialist will work remotely to establish diagnostic expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advocate for genetic testing programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Educate healthcare providers on genetic testing and identify educational needs within the IRD community
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement the U.S. diagnostic strategy
- Engage and train stakeholders, providing insights and resources for seamless testing utilization
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS required; healthcare degree strongly preferred (MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD)
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in pharma/biotech, clinical/medical, or diagnostics
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual meeting technologies
- Experience collaborating with KOLs and healthcare stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics and scientific acumen
