Virtual Elementary Math Tutor
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time, remote Virtual Elementary Math Tutor, who will provide targeted math instruction to K-8 students across the USA during weekday evenings from 5 PM to 7 PM ET, utilizing pre-designed lesson content and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed math lessons to students, focusing on improving skills at or below grade level
- Build meaningful connections with students to create an encouraging and motivating learning environment
- Participate in a collaborative community of educators and attend at least 80% of claimed tutoring sessions
Required qualifications
- Experience in classroom teaching, tutoring, or similar student support roles, with a preference for online instruction experience
- Ability to effectively use technology, including a reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection
- Reside in and tutor from one of the specified states in the USA
- Possess a college degree
- Willingness to complete onboarding steps, including a background check and tutor certification
