Job Summary

The global leader in innovative language services including translation is in need of a Virtual Entry Level Somali Telephone Interpreter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Understanding protocol and terminology in the following industries: Medical, Insurance, Finance, Court and Law
• Rendering correct concepts and meanings between Somali and English
• Providing strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Native Fluency in Somali and English
• Advanced skills in the cultural dynamics (cultural implication and idiomatic expression) of both Somali and English
• Ability to follow client's instructions closely
• Completion of High school education
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and remain neutral and objective at all times
