Job Summary

To support a vascular surgery practice, the part-time or full-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely, ensuring provider efficiency and improved patient flow while adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility-specific procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Transcribing medical record documentation during patient visits using electronic medical record applications
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to monitor lab results and ensure accurate documentation in patient records

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Ability to understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
• Residency in an approved state for virtual work with ProScribe
