Virtual .Net Application Architect

Job Summary

The leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing services is seeking a Virtual .Net Application Architect.

Must be able to:

• Manage a team of architects, evaluate their skills and proficiencies for alignment to projects, develop the team, artifacts, and implementation processes
• Partner with business leaders and work to deeply understand the business needs and underlying market trends that drive the business
• Participate in creative or user-experience designs

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree with preferred concentrations in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years in design, development, and deployment of mission critical technology-based solutions
• Experience architecting an overall solution to a business problem
• Strong understanding of .NET, Microsoft development tools, product roadmaps, and object-oriented principles
• Experience in protocols and frameworks for Web Services and system integration technologies
• Experience in high level 3rd party vendor coordination with architectural guidance and oversight
