Virtual System Administrator
Job Summary
An American multinational technology company that makes semiconductor chip is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual System Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintain, support, configure and troubleshoot externally developed application used by the High Performance Data Division (HPDD)
- Work closely with the build and tools teams to troubleshoot and solve issues
- Purchase hardware/equipment for HPDD
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ year experience as a system and applications administrator or equivalent years of experience
- Experience as a Linux/Unix system administrator including scripting
- Experience designing, implementing, administering, troubleshooting and maintaining production and staging infrastructure environments
- Experience with managing KVM/libvirt virtual clusters
- Must be a legal permanent US resident (Citizen or Green Card) and must physically reside in the US
