Job Summary

A technical services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual System Administrator in Rockville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
• Coordinating and/or modifying project requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities
• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of systems administration experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in High Performance Computing (HPC), Supercomputing, Cluster Environment
• Knowledge of debugging in Red Hat LINUX / CentOS / Solaris system administration
• Experience in administering systems in a networked environment
• Excellent team skills, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
