Virtualization Engineer II
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Virtualization Engineer II, the successful candidate will design and maintain complex technical systems architecture, manage large-scale production deployments, and administer Linux systems across thousands of servers and virtual machines.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain complex technical systems architecture, providing recommendations for improvement
- Manage and support large-scale production deployments of servers and applications within internal datacenters
- Develop and enhance scripts, automation tools, and operational workflows using AI tools where applicable
Required qualifications:
- US Citizenship or Green Card holder status
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- Experience with infrastructure technologies at scale, including Linux, Windows, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience administering large-scale OpenStack environments in production
- Experience managing VMware vCenter/ESXi at scale, including HA, DRS, and vMotion
