Virtualization Manager

Job Summary

Leading a small team of engineers, the full-time Manager, Virtualization & Digital Workspace Platforms will design, implement, and manage Genworth's virtual desktop infrastructure and application delivery platforms while ensuring security, resilience, and alignment with business objectives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on virtualization and cloud engineering
• Own the strategy and operational support for virtual desktop and application delivery platforms, including Citrix and Azure environments
• Oversee day-to-day operations, incident response, and ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization and cloud technologies
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or infrastructure operations
• Strong expertise in Citrix Cloud, Azure, and application virtualization technologies
• Experience managing highly available, mission-critical infrastructure environments
