Job Summary
To lead a 10-week modernization project, the specialized VMware Cyber Recovery Architect will work remotely to migrate a legacy Site Recovery Manager environment to VMware Live Recovery, implement an AWS-backed cyber vault, and integrate advanced network-security protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Migrate and modernize a legacy VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) environment to VMware Live Recovery
- Architect and implement an AWS-backed cyber-resiliency vault to protect critical financial data
- Deploy network-security integrations, including east-west firewalling and secure traffic replication between on-premises and AWS environments
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with VMware Live Recovery and legacy VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
- Strong background in virtualization architecture
- Experience with VMware vDefend and/or vShield for network security
- Proficiency in configuring east-west firewalling and hybrid-cloud traffic protection
- Expertise in AWS integration, including storage and networking management for cyber resiliency
