Voice AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative voice AI solutions, the full-time Voice AI Engineer will design, configure, and debug conversational agents for healthcare practices, ensuring seamless go-lives and high-quality performance in a hybrid or remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and configure agent behavior, including conversation flows, escalation logic, and fallback paths
- Own go-live processes, scoping agent capabilities and ensuring successful implementation for practices
- Measure and analyze call quality, developing tests and fixes for agent performance issues
Required qualifications
- Experience building and deploying at least one LLM-powered conversational agent with hands-on involvement in prompts and flow logic
- Proficiency in using LLM voice platforms or frameworks, such as Vapi, Bland, LiveKit Agents, or Pipecat
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and webhooks, with the ability to troubleshoot API interactions
- Ability to write scripts in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for data analysis and testing
- Experience designing systematic tests for agent behavior, focusing on automated evaluations rather than manual checks
