Voice Circuit Designer
Job Summary
To support the deployment of the BrightSpeed CSP network, the contract Voice Circuit Designer will prepare designs for routing SS7, 911, and other TDM circuits onto the network, utilizing Ribbon Equipment and ensuring efficient connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Research options in TIRKS and utilize network diagrams to determine routing for TDM circuits
- Design new T1 circuits as needed and provide detailed designs for DS0 connections across various T1s
- Create WMS tickets for design submissions and notate designs on spreadsheets for tracking purposes
Required qualifications
- Experience with TDM circuit design and routing
- Familiarity with Ribbon Equipment and BrightSpeed network architecture
- Proficiency in using TIRKS and network diagram tools
- Understanding of carrier circuits and their impact on TDM routing
- Ability to create and manage WMS tickets for design processes
