VoIP Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the telephony platform end to end, the full-time VoIP Engineer will design and manage the Genesys Cloud environment, oversee Twilio SIP trunking, and drive AI strategies in a remote-friendly position.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain the Genesys Cloud environment, including flows, queues, and reporting
- Manage Twilio SIP trunking, ensuring call quality and capacity management
- Integrate and optimize AI solutions within the call center, leveraging tools like Cresta and Genesys' native features
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise or contact center telephony, with ownership of the platform
- Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud, including architecting and routing
- Strong understanding of SIP and VoIP fundamentals, with Twilio experience as a plus
- Proficiency in integrating disparate systems using APIs and programming languages like Python or JavaScript
- Experience in deploying AI solutions in a contact center environment, ideally with Cresta
