VoIP Engineer II
Job Summary
Ensuring the uptime and performance of voice, video, and data networks, the full-time VoIP Engineer II will plan, implement, and maintain VoIP and video conferencing systems in both on-premises and cloud environments while providing Tier-2 support and managing carrier accounts remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, install, configure, and maintain VoIP and video conferencing systems under moderate supervision
- Provide Tier-2 escalation support for troubleshooting complex voice and video system issues
- Create and maintain physical and logical diagrams of network device connections to design effective voice solutions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Platform-centric Certification
- Experience with managing carrier accounts and circuits, including SIP trunks and PRI PSTN connections
- Proficiency in troubleshooting performance issues related to voice and video communication systems
- Ability to document system configurations and train end-users on system functionalities
