Job Summary
Seeking detail-oriented candidates, the part-time hourly Vote Entry Operator will input vote totals from various sources during the 2026 Election Year, working remotely and participating in training and rehearsal sessions as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Input vote totals from stringers and websites for election coverage
- Participate in onboarding, training sessions, and rehearsal days to become proficient in AP processes
- Assist with Extended Tabulation and Verification following Election Night
Required qualifications
- Must possess a laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10/11 or Mac OS v11 or higher
- Cell phone required for multifactor authentication and communication with AP staff
- Availability for training and rehearsal sessions as well as Election Night duties
- Preferred but not required: a second monitor for enhanced workflow
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
