VP Indirect Originations

Job Summary

Leading the management of indirect originations, the full-time remote VP Indirect Originations will oversee the buying of small and large ticket originations from third-party sources, support sales representatives in portfolio transactions, and manage relationships with funding partners.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage deal buys from select banks, targeting transactions that meet risk-adjusted return requirements
• Assist sales representatives in acquiring portfolios of acceptable transactions from vendor captives and independent finance companies
• Support onboarding of new funding partners and manage existing funder partnerships, ensuring alignment with company sales targets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in formal bank credit training program
• At least 5 years of combined experience in credit, sales, and/or capital markets within equipment finance
• Strong credit background and analytical skills in equipment finance
• Experience in leadership and supervision of Capital Markets functions
• Ability to present underwriting for large ticket transactions and understand pricing dynamics
