VP of Clinical Biostatistics
Job Summary
To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for clinical trials, the full-time remote VP of Clinical Biostatistics will manage the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical programs while building and leading a high-performing biostatistics team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement biostatistics and data management strategies to support clinical development
- Build and mentor a high-performing clinical biostatistics team, fostering a collaborative culture
- Oversee the creation of statistical analysis plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in clinical biostatistics, particularly in small molecule drug development
- Proven track record of leading and building clinical biostatistics teams in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with regulatory submissions
- Strong programming skills in SAS, R, or similar statistical software
