VP of Finance

Job Summary

Leading the finance function for an enterprise B2B software business, the full-time remote VP of Finance will manage financial planning and analysis, serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while preparing the company for its next growth milestone.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budget, scenario modeling, and rolling forecasts while delivering monthly and quarterly reporting
• Serve as the CEO's trusted financial advisor on strategic decisions and prepare board materials and investor reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly close, GAAP-compliant financials, and oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury operations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally as an SVP or VP of Finance in a B2B software company with 50M-100M ARR
• Deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of connecting planning to business operations
• Hands-on experience with GAAP reporting, internal controls, and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Experience managing external auditors, tax advisors, and banking relationships
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and their impact on financial performance
