VP of Security

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations in a growing AI-native environment, the full-time VP of Security will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and enhance operational security while ensuring enterprise trust and compliance readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives and security compliance, ensuring readiness for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions related to identity and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
