Vulnerability Management Lead
Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end infrastructure vulnerability lifecycle, the full-time onsite Vulnerability Management Lead will prioritize, remediate, validate, and close vulnerabilities while coordinating with security teams and managing patching schedules across various environments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the infrastructure vulnerability lifecycle using Rapid7, including prioritization and remediation efforts
- Act as the primary liaison with security teams and business stakeholders on risk management and remediation activities
- Drive automation initiatives and maintain quality in ServiceNow ticketing and CMDB processes
Required qualifications
- 10-15 years of infrastructure/security operations experience, with at least 3 years in vulnerability management leadership
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies, including CVSS/EPSS
- Hands-on experience with Rapid7, Tenable, or Qualys and enterprise patching tools
- Proficiency in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and CMDB/CI management
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required
