Vulnerability Management Specialist
Job Summary
To support compliance with DoD cybersecurity directives, the remote Vulnerability Management Specialist will manage RMF accreditation activities, utilize vulnerability scanning tools, and collaborate with system owners to remediate vulnerabilities in a contract position.
Key responsibilities
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation activities in collaboration with DoD leadership
- Manage vulnerability scanning and reporting using ACAS and Tenable Security Center
- Analyze scan results and work with system owners to remediate identified vulnerabilities
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Security+ certification (IAT II)
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience with ACAS (Tenable Security Center / Tenable Manager)
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, and STIGs
