Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic Washington DC Licensed LPN Faculty, the part-time online instructor will teach undergraduate LPN-specific courses, conduct office hours, and provide mentorship to students while maintaining high academic standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses using a pre-designed curriculum and enhance learning through technology
- Provide timely feedback to students via various communication methods to support their academic success
- Attend faculty meetings and adhere to university policies and procedures
Required qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active, unencumbered RN license with the requirement for a Washington DC license upon hire
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a nursing online program preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology and evaluation methods
