Job Summary
To support a growing virtual care practice, the part-time 1099 Independent Contractor Washington DC Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive mental health services including evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while assessing treatment effectiveness and patient adherence
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary clinical team
Required qualifications
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in applicable states
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience treating patients ages 13 and older
- Strong clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Experience with Athena One EHR and remote clinical workflows
