Washington Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing videogame studio, the full-time Washington Licensed Accountant will provide accounting, administrative, and operational assistance remotely, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, and marketing support.

Key responsibilities

• Participate with management to present accounting reports and financial forecasts for data-driven decisions
• Handle QuickBooks for bank reconciliation, sales tax processing, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Support marketing efforts by analyzing market data and evaluating the ROI of campaigns

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a small-business accounting and administrative role
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Understanding of government filing and tax rules, as well as employment and payroll regulations
• Enthusiasm for videogames and knowledge of the videogame industry
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
