Job Summary
To support a vital crisis response initiative, the part-time 911 Call Diversion Clinician will provide clinical oversight and support to 911 Crisis Diversion Specialists, ensuring effective crisis intervention and resource linkage for individuals in mental health crises, while working remotely during scheduled shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 4 PM to 12 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coach 911 Crisis Diversion Specialists during live calls, ensuring best clinical practices are followed
- Conduct risk assessments and develop crisis intervention plans, coordinating referrals to community resources
- Monitor service delivery and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Mental Health Professional (MHP) status as defined by Washington Administrative Code
- Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychiatric ARNP, or equivalent
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to maintain current licensure and complete continuing education requirements
- Strong understanding of community resources for mental health and crisis support
