Job Summary
Providing empathetic crisis intervention, the part-time and full-time Washington Licensed Crisis Specialist will offer life-saving emotional support via phone, conduct assessments, and collaborate with clinicians in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic, nonjudgmental crisis intervention via phone
- Conduct suicide risk and behavioral health assessments and support de-escalation
- Develop safety and action plans with individuals in crisis and connect them to community resources
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus four years of full-time behavioral health experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period
- Crisis intervention or suicide prevention experience
- Behavioral health or contact center experience
- Ability to multitask across multiple software platforms in a fast-paced environment
