Washington Licensed Crisis Specialist

Job Summary

Providing life-saving emotional support, the full-time Washington Licensed Crisis Specialist will engage with individuals in mental health crises via chat and text, conducting assessments and collaborating with clinicians while working remotely from Washington, Arizona, Ohio, or Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic crisis intervention through chat and SMS text
• Conduct suicide risk and behavioral health assessments, supporting de-escalation efforts
• Collaborate with on-shift clinicians to ensure safety and develop action plans for individuals in crisis

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus four years of full-time behavioral health experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period
• Crisis intervention or suicide prevention experience
• Behavioral health or contact center experience
• Ability to multitask across multiple software platforms in a fast-paced environment
