Seeking a Washington Licensed Hospice Veterinarian, the full-time position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, allowing for a self-managed schedule and a focus on meaningful interactions with families during their pets' final moments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets, ensuring a compassionate and dignified experience for families
- Manage a flexible schedule, choosing 2 to 5 days per week to accommodate personal commitments
- Engage with families in a supportive manner, addressing their questions and concerns during difficult times
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review
- Availability to choose 4 weekend days per month that fit personal schedules
