Job Summary

Seeking a Washington Licensed In-Home Veterinarian, the part-time DVM will provide compassionate in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services to pet families in Kirkland and Bellevue, emphasizing professional autonomy and meaningful veterinary practice without traditional clinic constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services
• Independently travel to scheduled appointments and practice effectively in a mobile veterinary care environment
• Educate pet families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life care options with empathy and professionalism

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary medical degree from an accredited program
• Active veterinary license in Washington or eligibility to obtain one
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
• Demonstrated ability to communicate empathetically, especially during sensitive conversations
• Availability for rotational weekend scheduling as required
