Washington Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing outpatient psychiatric consultation services, the part-time Washington Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will manage diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic recommendations while collaborating with integrated mental health teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations to clarify treatment recommendations
• Provide consultation to Integrated Mental Health Therapists on a regular caseload
• Complete required documentation in accordance with health system policies

Required qualifications

• Washington state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
• American Nurses Credentialing Center Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or equivalent certification
• Current Health Care Provider level BLS certification
• Expert knowledge of psychotropic medications and experience in community mental health
• Ability to work varied hours as necessary
