Job Summary
To support preclinical toxicology studies, the full-time remote Senior Research Pathologist will perform macroscopic and microscopic tissue evaluations, supervise necropsies, and write comprehensive reports detailing test article effects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct tissue evaluations and interpret findings for assigned studies
- Provide training and technical guidance to laboratory staff and less experienced pathologists
- Act as a study pathologist or peer reviewer, diagnosing disease/toxicity using laboratory techniques
Required qualifications
- D.V.M. or Ph.D., with a strong preference for a diplomat of A.C.V.P., J.C.V.P., E.C.V.P., or R.C.P
- Minimum of 5 years of toxicologic pathology experience in a GLP environment
- Experience with evaluation of special stains and IHC, or specialty pathology expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pathology data management systems
- Ability to effectively present information to clients and regulatory agencies
