Job Summary
Providing essential support for patients' medication needs, the remote Patient Engagement Specialist (Pharmacy Technician) will manage inbound pharmacy calls, make outbound refill reminders, and collaborate with healthcare professionals while working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and process medication refills, including data entry and claim adjudication
- Place outbound refill calls and assist patients through the refill request process
- Respond to and resolve inbound patient and provider inquiries while maintaining patient confidentiality
Required qualifications
- Active Washington or Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
- National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or equivalent) required
- 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience, including refills and claims adjudication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data entry and navigating web-based platforms
