Washington Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Patient Engagement Specialist (Pharmacy Technician) will manage inbound pharmacy calls, place outbound refill reminders, and guide patients through the refill process while collaborating with pharmacists and clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and process medication refills, including data entry and claim adjudication
• Respond to and resolve inbound patient and provider inquiries
• Maintain and update patient and prescription data in software systems

Required qualifications

• Active Washington or Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or equivalent)
• 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience, including refills and claims adjudication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in clinical collaboration or specialty pharmacy preferred
