Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Washington Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while cultivating client relationships and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes and strategies to counter plaintiff arguments
- Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
- Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active bar license in the State of Washington
- 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
