Washington State Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Office of Research, the temporary full-time Washington State Compliance Analyst will manage conflict of interest and outside work programs, ensuring compliance through document analysis, communication with faculty, and collaboration with various university offices, while eligible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Faculty Outside Work Program, including document intake, analysis, and communication of review outcomes
• Support the Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) Program by conducting pre-reviews of disclosures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate conflict of commitment reviews and communicate compliance documentation with researchers and administrators

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, communications, or risk assessment, or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience in a risk management, legal, or compliance role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience in data visualization tools like Power BI
• Demonstrated experience in a large, structured environment
• Ability to manage time-sensitive materials within a specialized database
