Washington State Credit Resolution Representative

Job Summary

Researching billing and payment posting issues, the full-time Washington State Credit Resolution Representative will notify customers of findings, correct payment postings, and process refunds while working remotely from Washington State.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve billing and payment posting issues initiated by patients and insurance carriers
• Correct payment postings, adjust accounts, and process refunds and contractual adjustments
• Balance reports and document findings in accordance with department policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; two years post high school education preferred
• Two years of work experience in cash posting, credits, or insurance billing in a healthcare environment required
• Knowledge of insurance claims processing and third-party reimbursement procedures preferred
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility in a team environment
• Experience dealing effectively with difficult situations and individuals
